The University of Northern B.C. retains its spot as one of the best small universities.
In the annual Maclean’s magazine rankings of Canadian Universities UNBC ranked fifth. The rankings reflect the success of the UNBC students, with the University placing first for students who won national awards.
For the third consecutive year, UNBC placed second in student/faculty ratio and fourth in total research dollars, both indicators that teaching and research are a success.
UNBC students gave the University great marks in both mental health services where they placed first, and Indigenous visibility where they placed fourth.
