Prince George RCMP responded to a hold up alarm from a restaurant yesterday.
This took place at approximately 1:30 p.m., officers responded to the alarm at a restaurant on the corner of 20th Ave. and Victoria St.. The initial indication was that an irate adult female was threatening staff in the restaurant with needles.
A 50-year-old Prince George resident was arrested without further incident. She was found to be in possession of stolen cheques and was breaching the conditions of a release order from a previous incident. The female was believed to be intoxicated by drugs and was heavily agitated before and during contact with police.
She was held overnight and will appear in court today pending charge assessment from the B.C. Prosecution Service.
