Schools are set to return in September.
Registration is coming up soon for schools in the Prince Rupert area. Port Edward Elementary will be opening for registration from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 1st and 3rd.
All other elementary schools will open their offices on Aug. 31 through to Sept 4. Charles Hays Secondary, Prince Rupert Middle and Pacific Coast School will be opening offices from Aug. 31 through to Sept 4th, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There are some things to be noted for the first few days of school including a staggered approach to returning students at Prince Rupert Middle. Grade 6 will start Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Grade 7 from 10 to 12 on Sept. 11 and Grade 8 will be 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. also on Sept. 11. For Charles Hays and the other elementary schools parents will be notified of when they will be starting.
