An update has come from Northern Health regarding the Covid-19 outbreak on Haida Gwaii.
TO date there have been a total of 26 lab-confirmed cases, as of today all those cases are now considered recovered. There are no currently no active cases from this outbreak. Northern Health continues to encourage all Haida Gwaii residents to continue to self-monitor for symptoms of Covid-19.
While all the outbreak-related cases have recovered or completed their self isolation, there may be other individuals who are self-isolating for a variety of reasons, such as being in compliance with the Haida Gwaii State of Emergency.
Community outbreak measures remain in place.
