Minister of Health Adrian Dix and Deputy Provincial Health Officer Dr. Réka Gustafson provide an update on the Covid-19 case data.
Over the past 3 days there are 236 new cases reported bringing the total to 4,594. Currently there are 743 active cases, 4 people in hospital and 3 are in ICU.
Currently the number of people under public health watch is 2,286 as a result of identified exposure to known cases. Here in Northern Health there are a total of 117 cases and in Interior Health there’s 405 total cases.
There are two new Covid-19 related deaths in the Fraser Health region for a total of 198 deaths in B.C.
