Measures that were originally brought into place to allow restaurants and pubs to purchase beer, wine and spirits at wholesale cost came into effect on Monday.
Hospitality customers who have registered with the Province’s Liquor Distribution Branch are now able to use a searchable price list to help with their purchasing. A complete catalogue will launch on Sept. 1.
This mandate will stay in effect until Mar. 31 of next year where it will then be reviewed. Previous to this measure coming into place hospitality licensees paid full retail price on most of their liquor purchases.
