A logging truck driver sustained minor injuries after his trailer was struck by a freight train North of Quesnel.
On Jun. 10, at approximately 11:35 a.m., Quesnel RCMP went to Navers Creek Rd., East of Highway 97 for a motor vehicle collision. The investigation revealed an Eastbound loaded logging truck was crossing a marked rail crossing when a southbound freight train collided with the trailer.
The truck and trailer flipped onto its side spilling the logs into the ditch. CN Rail Police attended the scene and took carriage of the investigation.
