As B.C. progresses through its reopening plan cities are starting to slowly open various facilities.
The City of Quesnel is set to reopen playgrounds and other facilities in a phased approach over the next two weeks.
Opening on Jun. 8 we’ll see playgrounds, washrooms, baseball and sports opening again. The following Monday, Jun. 15 Spray Park will re-open. An important note is that public washrooms will be available at Shiraoi House only. The exterior Museum and Visitor Centre washrooms will remain closed.
The City of Quesnel has said that they will not be cleaning outdoor amenities, this includes all playgrounds and the spray park. The usage of this equipment is done at your own risk. Practices that have been maintained throughout the pandemic should still continue including physical distancing and proper hand washing.
The full list of closures and openings can be found at the City of Quesnel’s website.
