Health officials to closely monitor numbers during first incubation period since phase 2 began

Health Minister Adrian Dix alongside Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry gave their update from the last two reporting periods.

In the last 48 hours there have been 12 new cases bringing our total to 2,530. Our total active cases is 267, 37 are in hospital and 7 are in acute care. There are also 4 new deaths to report. For our health regions, in Interior Health there are 194 total cases and in Northern Health there are 62 total cases.

Henry says that Health Officials will be monitoring the situation closely since phase 2 has begun. Details for that will be coming in the following week.
