Provincial Health Officials provide update on the Covid-19 situation

Provincial Health Officials gave their update on the last two reporting periods on the Covid-19 situation.

There are 23 new test positive cases since Saturday’s reporting period bringing the provincial total to 2353 . For our northern regions there are 180 in interior health 57 in northern health.

Currently there are 19 active outbreaks in long term care homes. There have been no new community outbreaks as of today. There are 634 active cases remaining in B.C., of those 66 are in hospital, 18 of whom are in critical care. There has been 1 new death to report.
