Fort St. John RCMP suspending front counter services

Fort St. John RCMP has suspended all front counter services at the detachment to minimize the spread of COVID-19.

While complaints won’t be heard in-person, staff will still be taking calls through the main line at 250-787-8100 or by 911 for emergencies.

The detachment will also not be doing any civil fingerprinting, accepting found property, or conducting police information checks.

The RCMP says patrols and enforcement are carrying on as normal.
