Prime Minister Justin Trudeau gave another address today. Updating everyone on the evolving situation of the Covid-19 pandemic.
As of Wednesday, Mar. 18 Parks Canada will be suspending visitor services to all national parks and historic sites. For those people stuck outside of the country or trying to get back home $5,000 has been made available in an emergency loan fund.
Full cabinet is set to have a meeting this afternoon to discuss passing bills to help soften the economic impact. As well as examining the emergency measures act to see if it is necessary or if there are other ways that will enable the government to protect people. There will also be announcements in the coming days regarding potential changes to the upcoming tax season.
