Fort St John Mounties are hoping someone can help them take a bite out of crime; a meat theft to be more specific.
RCMP say an unknown male made off with a large amount of meats, some cheese, and ice cream products from a refrigerated trailer at the BC Winter Games headquarters.
Investigators think the food caper occurred sometime between 1:30 and 2:00 on the morning of Feb. 23.
“This was a targeted theft,” said lead investigator, Cst Josh Cullen. “If anyone hears about or knows someone suddenly possessing a large amount of meats or trying to sell them, call us.”
