The B.C. Coast is in store for some high winds.
Environment Canada has issued wind warnings for Haida Gwaii, the North Coast, and Central Coast.
A strong warm front is expected to reach the mainland coast by early Friday morning.
Wind speeds of up to 90 kilometres an hour are expected for coastal sections of northeastern Haida Gwaii by Thursday night.
The wind should die down for Haida Gwaii overnight but gusty conditions are expected to remain on the Central and North Coasts until Friday morning.
Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
