In a press conference earlier today in Ottawa, Justin Trudeau renews his calls for a thorough investigation into the Iranian plane crash.
Trudeau during the press conference has said that the evidence indicates the plane was shot down with a surface to air missile. Trudeau says this information came from Canada’s own intelligence along with multiple other sources including Canadian allies. Trudeau goes on to say that this could have been unintentional, but still reinforces the need to do a complete investigation.
The plane crashed outside of Tehran, Iran and claimed 176 lives including 63 Canadians.
