The City of Williams Lake is conducting fuel treatment activities and beetle tree removal in the area of Dairy Fields near Midnight Dr. and 11th Ave. This will be taking place over several weeks.
The purpose of the fuel treatment is to minimize the impacts of fire in the area. Reducing the amount of dead timber as well as other forest fuels.
The area designated for treatment is popular for recreational activities, for the safety of the public it will be closed during this fuel management process.
