On Sunday Jan. 5, Malcom McLaughlin, who was reported missing on Jan. 1 has been located.
McLaughlin was found deceased in his car on Tranquille Road in Kamloops. All evidence suggests he was involved in a single vehicle collision and there is nothing suspicious about the crash. His dog Chico was found alive and uninjured and was taken to a local animal hospital until arrangements could be made to return the dog to McLaughlin’s family.
The RCMP would like to thank the public in the search for McLaughlin and Chico. The BC Coroners Service will have conduct of the investigation and no further information to be released at this time.
