Prince George RCMP are investigating after a car hit a pedestrian.
Just before 4 p.m. yesterday Prince George RCMP received a report of an accident involving a pedestrian. The accident took place at the intersection of Highway 97 and Highway 16 in Prince George.
A 49 year old man was found suffering from serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
Evidence from the scene along with witness accounts indicated that the driver of an SUV style vehicle was traveling west bound on Highway 16 on a green light.
Police would like to remind all road users to be cautious when traveling on or near roadways.
