The Lheidli T’enneh will be hosting their first potlatch in more than 70 years.
Events begin at 9 this morning with Lheidli members as well as School District 57 staff and special guests getting seated in accordance with tradition. It’ll then be followed by prayers and then moving to lunch.
Speeches begin right after lunch followed by the School District principals receiving a special gift from the Lheidli T’enneh. Followed by gifts to witnesses and guests and finally ending the day with closing remarks.
