Police in northeast B.C. are asking local businesses to keep an eye out for counterfeit cash.
The notice comes after a Dawson Creek shop reported that some fake American cash had been passed at the location Monday.
Investigators say that only one report has been received, but police are reminding staff to check cash, especially larger bills.
RCMP say more information about counterfeit checking, preventing and reporting can be found at www.bankofcanada.ca
