BC Hydro is asking some Haida Gwaii customers to conserve electricity use until tomorrow.
BC Hydro has said that they are currently experiencing temporary capacity issues which crews are working hard to resolve as quickly as possible.
The customers affected are in Queen Charlotte, Skidegate, Tlell and Sandspit. They are asked to watch their electricity use during peak times at breakfast and dinner.
BC Hydro has also said that if the power does go out they do have a plan to restore it in a timely and safe manner.
