On Sept. 19, the Prince George RCMP received a report of an identity theft that had occurred in August.
An unknown suspect had defrauded a local branch of a national bank of thousands of dollars using the identity of a Port Coquitlam, BC, man. Substantial withdrawals were made in Prince George, Quesnel and Williams Lake.
Investigators believe that the suspect travels between communities and has committed similar offences before.
He is described as, Non-white male, between the age of 40 and 50, 5’8″, medium build and short dark hair with a moustache and goatee.
