In the evening of Nov. 21, the Prince George RCMP’s street unit arrested a 28 year old man along with a 34 year old man in relation to an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. The arrests were made outside a residence on Garvin St. in Prince George.
Due to safety concerns, investigators were assisted by the North District RCMP’s Emergency Response Team and the Prince George RCMP’s Police Dog Service.
Police executed search warrants at a residence on Garvin St. as well as a residence on the 2900 block of 15th Ave. More than a kilogram of cocaine and methamphetamine was seized, along with a handgun, ammunition and a large amount of cash.
Both suspects were released without charge at this time, pending the completion of the investigation and charge approval from the Federal Prosecution Service of Canada.
