A dog and her puppies left for dead near Williams Lake earlier this summer will all be spending the holiday season with families.
The BC SPCA received the mother and nine puppies after a Good Samaritan found them in a sealed box with no food or water at the Puntzi Lake Landfill June 5.
But the organization says Casey, a border collie-husky mix, and her puppies, all recovered.
Casey, who had been stolen months before she was found, was reunited with her rightful guardian while the puppies have all been adopted.
