Nisga’a Citizens residing in Terrace’s urban local area will see a transition in programs and service delivery. This comes with the newly established Gitlaxdax Nisga’a Terrace Society.
Effective November 1, programs and services that were provided by NLG Programs and Services will be transitioned to the Society.
Terrace Nisga’a Urban Local Executive Representative Keith Azak and Terrace Nisga’a Urban Local Government Representative Marianne Stanely-Ward have spent the last few months working towards establishing a society under the B.C. Societies Act.
In June of this year, Azak, Stanely-Ward and Lyle Adams became founding directors of the Society.
