Teamsters at CN could go on strike as early as November 19th.
Approximately 3,000 conductors, trainspersons and yardpersons voted in favour of a strike action last month.
The union and the company have been in negotiations for six months and have been working with federal mediators for the past four months.
President of the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference , Lyndon Isaak says they will continue to bargain in good faith with CN but will not be bargaining in the press or discussing the sticking points publicly.
The next round of talks with the company and federal mediators is set for November 12th.
