There weren’t any surprises across much of the federal riding races in northern B.C.
Conservative incumbant Bob Zimmer picked up another commanding win in Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies.
Zimmer garnered nearly 70 percent of the vote while his next closest competitor was Mavis Erickson of the Liberals with 11.5 percent.
The Conservatives also held on to Cariboo-Prince George with Todd Doherty achieving 53 percent of ballots.
Tracy Calogheros of the Liberals came away with 20 percent, followed by the NDP and Greens.
Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo also remains blue as incumbant Cathy McLeod fended off a challenge from star Liberal candidate, former provincial health minister Terry Lake.
