It may be a good idea to batten down the hatches if you live on the North Coast.
Environment Canada has issued wind warnings for Haida Gwaii and coastal sections of the North Coast.
Forecasters say a low pressure system over the Pacific is expected to approach sometime Monday afternoon, bringing westerly winds with speeds of over 90 kilometres per hour.
The strongest winds will affect northern Haida Gwaii and northern portions of the North Coast.
The wind is expected to ease after midnight.
