Heavy rain is expected to drench Haida Gwaii and the North Coast Tuesday.
Environment Canada has issued rainfall warnings for both areas as a trough of low pressure is expected to dump up to 60 mm of precipitation by Tuesday night.
Southeast winds of 70 to 90 km/h are also expected by the afternoon.
The weather office says the downpours may result in localized flooding in some low-lying areas.
