Shannon Wagner is the new fire chief for the Forest Grove volunteer fire department.
Chief Wagner was elected by fire department members and appointed to a three-year term by the Cariboo Regional District.
CRD Chair Margo Wagner congratulated the new chief and thanked outgoing Forest Grove fire chief Aron Zablotny for his service.
The Cariboo Regional District oversees 14 volunteer fire departments and Central Cariboo Search and Rescue.
