Two Williams Lake men could be facing arson charges relating to a grass fire from Tuesday.
Police were called out to the stampede grounds behind the Shoppers’ Drug Mart for reports of the fire late in the afternoon.
Fire crews were able to quickly deal with the blaze, which had spread to cover a 10 by 30 foot area.
RCMP arrested two men on scene, and have recommended arson charges to the BC Prosecution Service.
