Two Kamloops-area teens are dead following a semi-truck collision north of Prince George this weekend.
Police responded to the two vehicle crash on Highway 97, near McLeod Lake, at just before 4:30 Sunday afternoon.
According to reports, the incident occured when a vehicle carrying three occupants collided head-on with a transport truck.
At this moment, police are unsure the exact cause of the crash, but they do say the road conditions were considered excellent at the time.
Officers say that the driver of the smaller vehicle, along with one of the passengers, died as a result, while the third was airlifted to hospital.
There has been no update on the third passenger’s condition, though they were said to be in serious condition.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
