More than 500 residents signed up for the Cariboo Chilcotin Emergency Notification System during the month of May.
Most of that boost can be attributed to promotional efforts held in the District during a week long campaign tha began on May 13th.
Williams Lake saw the biggest boost during the month, with more than 170 new subscribers.
In total, the Cariboo Chilcoting Emergency Notification System now has nearly 15,500 subscribers.
