Beginning at noon tomorrow, category 2 fires will no longer be permitted within the Prince George Fire Centre’s jurisdiction.
Activites prohibited under the ban include: burning of any material smaller than 2 metres wide and high, and stubble or grass fires smaller than 0.2 hectares.
Small campfires and cooking stoves are not covered under the restriction.
