A Prince George man is facing charges after a complaint about unwanted persons from a rural area north of the city.
RCMP were called out to a Salmon Valley home Friday afternoon to find that someone was squatting in the home and refusing to open the door.
Officers removed a lone man from the house and obtained a warrant to search the building.
Police found a loaded pistol, a loaded long gun, an unloaded long gun, brass knuckles, ammunition, and small amounts of cocaine, magic mushrooms, and heroin/fentanyl.
Mounties say 27 year old Ryan John Moore of Prince George is charged with careless use of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and two counts of possession of a loaded firearm.
A woman believed to be associated to the property was also arrested in a nearby vehicle, but has been released without charge.
RCMP say Moore is expected to appear in court June 5th.
