The Lheidli T’enneh have chosen a new elected Chief.
Clayton Pountney, who was elected to a two-year term by members, defeated longtime incumbent Dominic Frederick.
Frederick, who lost by 15 votes, had been Chief of the Prince George area First Nation since 2004.
Dolleen Logan, Helen Buzas, Clarence John, and Joshua Seymour were elected as Councillors.
Melody Buzas, Elissa Gagnon, and Phyllis Seymour were elected to a four-year term on the Lheidli T’enneh Lands Authority.
