Students and community members from a number of First Nations communities are gathering for a festival in Smithers on Thursday.
Members of the Kitsumkalum, Kispiox, Witset, and Lake Babine Nations will join in on the Sprint North First Nation Multi-Community Festival Day.
Attendees will take part in a cross-country ski day at the Bulkley Valley Nordic Centre, joined by Olympian and Sprint North CEO Beckie Scott.
Students will also be able to take part in cultural drumming, dancing, and singing throughout the day.
An opening ceremony will kick the event off at 10:30 in the morning, and it will run until 3:30.
