After tackling more than 330 investigations in two years, the Cariboo-Chilcotin Crime Reduction Unit will be sticking around a bit longer.
Since its May 2017 creation, 218 charges have been recommended following investigations by the Williams Lake-based unit.
In addition, the unit has had 38 charges approved relating to their 16 prolific offender investigations, and seized more than 80 weapons.
Last night, the RCMP announced that the unit’s operation would be extended through 2020.
