Prince George-based Carrier Forest Products is being charged nearly 90 thousand dollars following the death of a worker in 2015.
That incident saw a worker hit by an object thrown from a wood chipper in Saskatchewan, leading to their death.
In January, the company plead guilty to one charge under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Now, an appeal by the Crown has wrapped up, confirming the 87,500 dollar fine, while also staying an additional charge.
