British Columbia has once again claimed top spot among the provinces when it comes to labour force and job growth.
March marks the 20th month in a row in which BC registered the lowest unemployment rate in the country, according to results from the Labour Force Survey.
Through the end of last month, the province’s unemployment rate sits at just 4.7 percent, with nearly 80 thousand jobs being added so far this year.
Minister of Jobs Bruce Ralston calls the numbers a testiment to BC’s ability to maintain a strong economy while investing in people.
