Residents of Prince George experiencing mental health and addictions related challeneges are getting a boost of support.
28 new homes are set to open up to support those struggling with around the clock assistance and services available.
Staffed by the Association Advocating for Women and Community, residents will have access to recovery programs, community support, life skills and employment training, and education and health supports.
4 million dollars was provided by the province to purchase and renovate the building at the site of the former Economy Inn Motel on 3rd Avenue.
Residents of the new homes will pay a monthly rent of 450 dollars.
