British Columbians tied up in injury claim disputes with ICBC will have added support starting next month.
On April 1st, the Civil Resolution Tribunal will be expanding its services to cover motor vehicle accident injury claims of under 50 thousand dollars.
On top of that, the CRT will also review evidence from both parties to help determine the severity of an injury, entitlement to benefits, and the responsibility of an accident.
A part of BC’s public justice system since 2016, the CRT operates independantly from the government with the goal of improving access to justice for all.
