Crane operators had to get creative to pull a Canada Post truck out of a ditch north of Williams Lake yesterday morning.
According to Williams Lake RCMP, the semi-trailer went off the road on Highway 97 at roughly 3:00.
After tumbling down a ditch, the truck eventually came to a rest behind a home on Commodore Crescent.
Crane crews were then forced to lay out plywood in order to help their equipment get within range of the crashed truck.
Road conditions were reportedly not poor at the time of the incident.
No one was home at the residence at the time of the crash, and the driver of the truck suffered minor injuries as a result.
