A collision in Groundbirch from yesterday morning has resulted in the death of a pedestrian.
Police responded to reports of a fatal collision on Highway 97 near 275 Road just before 7:30 yesterday morning.
Once they arrived on scene, officers confirmed that a pedestrian in his 60s had been struck and killed by a pickup truck.
The driver of the pickup truck remained on scene and was cooperative with police.
RCMP from Dawson Creek, North Peace Regional Traffic Services, North District Collision Analysis Services and the BC Coroners’ Service continue to investigate.
