Police in Dawson Creek are hoping the public can help them locate a vehicle involved in a hit and run in late January.
On January 26th, RCMP received a report of a pedestrian being hit on Highway 2, near Jabs Corner.
When they arrived on scene, they found an injured male in the northbound ditch near the scene of the incident.
Officers had the man, who reported to have been walking home at the time, transported to hospital, from which he was released shortly after.
Since the incident, police have had no luck in identifying a suspect or the vehicle.
Evidence found on scene has led police to believe the vehicle in question is a darker coloured Volkswagen.
If you have any information which could help locate the vehicle, you are asked to contact Dawson Creek RCMP at 250 784 3700.
