A multi-jurisdictional investigation in the Peace Region has resulted in 24 charges being issued among 4 individuals.
Just before 5 am last Thursday, RCMP attended a Fort St John motel after observing suspicious activity.
While on scene, officers observed an altercation taking place in one of the rooms.
During the altercation, police noticed a loaded semi-automatic firearm in the room and took the 3 individuals in to custody while they obtained a warrant.
Officers then searched the room and two related vehicles, discovering more firearms, illicit drugs, and the belongings of a fourth individual.
During their investigation, a fourth individual attended the RCMP attachment, reporting to have been kidnapped in Dawson Creek and held in a Taylor residence.
Additional search warrants were acquired for the Taylor residence, which led police to seize more firearms and arrest a fourth suspect.
Christopher Munch, Gavin Davis, Natasha Ray, and Theodore Capot-Blanc are now splitting 24 charges related to kidnapping, forcible confinement, firearm offences, and more.
