A recent report from BC Hydro finds that, despite what they believe, baby boomers on average consume more energy than millennials.
According to the report, while 53 percent of boomers think they use less energy than their younger counterparts, they actually use 500 dollars more annually on average.
Dave Mosure, BC Hydro’s Community Relations Coordinator for Northern Communities, says that works out to 2 times more than millennials.
Mosure says baby boomers tend to live in larger homes, and live more energy heavy lifestyles than millennials.
