Expanded bus service is on the way for Williams Lake after City Council voted to amend their operating agreement with BC Transit.
During their Tuesday meeting, Council opted to alter their 3 year plan with BC Transit to add one additional trip to each main route within the City.
In each case, the extra trip will be tacked on to the end of the current service schedule.
Route 1 will see a full extra route, while Routes 2 and 3 will see shortened trips.
During the same meeting, Council also voted in favour of a taxi supplement increase from 28 hundred dollars to 9 thousand.
Council also confirmed that a proposed private bus route between Kamloops and Prince George failed to meet its confirmation deadline.
