The snow continues to pile up across parts of northern B.C.
Environment Canada has continued a winter storm warning for Smithers, Burns Lake, the South Peace, and Central Interior.
Forecasters expect a total of 30 to 40 cm of snow by Saturday morning.
Areas along Highway 16 east of Prince George towards McBride and Highway 97 north of Prince George, and those near Tumbler Ridge may see near 50 cm by Saturday morning.
A blizzard warning has also issued for the Pine Pass with near zero visibility because of blowing snow.
Snow is expected to ease up tonight or early Saturday as dry Arctic air settles in.
