It’s looking like a tax increase is in line for residents of the Cariboo Regional District in 2019.
With the budget set to raise from 48.3 million dollars to 48.9 million, the District has proposed a 3.2 percent increase in the tax rate.
Emergency services and solid waste management will see the largest expense increase for the District in 2019.
With the increase, the District would be set to bring in just over 24.9 million dollars through taxes across the year.
All tax rates are still just projections as final assessment values are still not in.
